- at AK Lübeck (motorway junction 24) keep right and follow signs for motorway A20 toward Rostock
- at the interchange 16-AK Rostock, keep right and follow signs for A19 toward Rostock-Überseehafen
- take the exit 4 toward Rostock-Überseehafen/ Rostock-Krummendorf/ Baltic Sea Ferries
- keep right at the fork, follow signs for Überseehafen/ Ferries and merge onto E55
- turn left onto elevated road Am Fährterminal
- follow the signs to your ferry company

- from city center via motorway A10 onto motorway A24 in direction Hamburg
- at junction Wittstock/Dosse change onto motorway A19 in direction Rostock
- continue onto A19
- take the exit 4 toward Rostock-Überseehafen/ Rostock-Krummendorf/ Baltic Sea Ferries
- keep right at the fork, follow signs for Überseehafen/ Ferries and merge onto E55
- turn left onto elevated road Am Fährterminal
- follow the signs to your ferry company
